Wyoming State Contractor License Regulations

 To apply for a contractors license in the State of Wyoming one must first pass a business and trade examination. A new applicant must also provide financial statements, credit report and a license fee of $180 for review.  Contractors are required to pass the OSHA exam. There is no requirement of a State license, licensing is done at the local level. Please use the local county links on this same page to access your local government about liability insurance requirements. The State of Wyoming Department of Employment provides helpful information concerning the state requirements of workers' compensation insurance. You may also call (307) 777-7441.
